The week of 4/13/2020, almost a month since the SF Shelter in Place order was executed, small businesses with no or very little number of employees got devastating news; the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan $10,000 cash advance promised by the CARES act was pulled off all of the sudden.  This act by SBA stranded so many places that were waiting for this lifeline for the last 4 weeks.

As in all our personal level crisis, GoFundMe has been a lifesaver to so many.  Currently, this crowdfunding platform is the only thing that can provide the urgently needed cash injections to these places.  You all have come rallied around our free meal program to save our area restaurants and to feed our neighbors that need meal assistance during this unprecedented public health and economic crisis.
